Assignment #1 - Image + Word = ?

A word is compilation of letters that have a meaning. An image is a compilation of colors and shapes that create the representation of something. In design word and image relationships are very important. So much of design is the use of words and images together and how well they work together really determines how well the message comes across. They are so closely related in design and that can cause good or bad consequences. You have to be very careful with how you word things especially when pairing your words with an image because if it is not done correctly you can be sending the wrong message to your audience. But there are good consequences from word and image messages together. When used in the correct way you can get across a point or even a short narrative with just a few words or even one word when written well and paired with the correct image.
